Nancy (stay), this character is flat because she is a stereotypical good mom (see earlier).
Winston II (stay), this character is a round character because he has developed so that now we can see more clearly his love for his son, and a soft side (see earlier); doesn’t like religion, is a CEO, sensitive at heart, cares for his son.
Avantika (stay, exit), this character is flat because she has not been in the story long enough for any character development (see earlier); born in India, from DC, on a soccer team, likes dogs, likes Indian food, in Atlanta right now, likes Mexican food.

Lindt (enter), this character is flat because he is not in the story long enough to have actual character development; male, police officer, kind, his uncle is the sheriff of the town, lives in Hudson, Wisconsin.

I don’t think you can say that a character is "flat" solely based on the fact that they haven’t been in the story long enough however you could say

I disagree with Jody. If they haven't been in the story long enough and they are soon to leave, then you can't find any other way to judge them. Also, I thought some of these characters that have stuck around have been kinda flat as well, such as Agent Ward.
